Yung Dutch and HateSonny are becoming regular fixtures on our pages, and today they return with their latest track together titled “Death Note” produced by War Manga.
Dutcho and Sonny compliment each other extremely well, as demonstrated in their last joint track, “Hidden Valley Ranch,” and “Death Note” is a great example of their synergy. Both artists have been releasing some of their best music as of late, with Yung Dutch’s “Pedialyte” and HateSonny’s “Poppyseed Dressing” being two great songs to also check out. War Manga has produced quality tracks for both Dutcho and Sonny in the past, as well as Marquesisdead among others, and his impressive catalog of tracks grows with “Death Note.”
The production on this track is tailor made for Yung Dutch and HateSonny. War Manga’s beat is dark and eerie, with distant-sounding melodies and a heavy bass that will put your speakers to full use. Dutcho provides catchy and thought-provoking lyrics through his unique, highly melodic, yet still hard and raspy vocal style. Sonny comes in on the second verse with coarse, raspy vocals and hard lyrics of his own that compliment the beat and Dutcho both to perfection, completing this phenomenal track.
Yung Dutch and HateSonny both have some of the most unique and recognizable styles of anyone coming out of Chicago right now, and both of their futures are looking brighter by the day. Check out Yung Dutch “Death Note” ft. HateSonny prod. War Manga above.
