Fits of the Week: April 7-April 13, 2018

Outdressing your peers is a large component of any music scene. In our “Fits of the Week” segment, we pick our five favorite outfits of the week and compile them all into one list.

1) Lil Kawaii (@_lilkawaii_)

All draped up in a relaxed high contrast pink and black kawaii warlock type fit, LA-based musician, Lil Kawaii, is king of the Tripp store. His Tripp NYC zipper bondage pants pair with the Bullhead jacket, which is strategically falling off his shoulders as per recent luxury fashion styling. The pink Schmack hoodie matches his tousled pink hair and Slipknot t-shirt with classic Doc Martens and painted nails for a very cute, totally chill look.

2) Sophia Meiers (@sophiameiers)

Dreamy musician, Sophie Meiers, always serves the cutest outfits and makeup looks, but this one in particular is especially fantastic. The frayed hems of her two piece set contract the hard edges of the silver buckles, eyelets and lock chain. The striped baby pink and black stockings give a soft Nightmare Before Christmas feel, and her crimped hair adds a bit of late 2000’s emo/scene influence to an overall gothic look.

3) Youngster Jiji (@youngsterjiji)

Appropriately tricked out in primary colors, Seattle-based musician and member of the Crayon Crew, Youngster Jiji, has been spotted in this casual Kidcore type look. The abstract basic graphic pattern of his tall tee ties together the yellow of his beanie and royal blue layered sweatshirt. A bit of normcore influence, his light denim has been rolled up at the ankles revealing playful socks and pale shoes.

4) Brennan Savage (@brennansavage)

LA-based musician, Brennan Savage, was spotted in New York this week flexxed up wearing this rad green and blue colorblocked windbreaker. Paired with black and white plaid zippered skinny jeans, Nike shoes and an all-over print side bag, this look is both highly functional for the urban landscape and ultra fly.

5) Joslin Farley (@fairlyodddbitch)

Seattle-based stylist Joslin Farley, also a member of the Crayon Crew, was seen rocking his fire neon outfit to a Jungle show this week. Seamlessly tying together happy hardcore, retro 80’s workout, Memphis patterning and country western aesthetics, this look is highly successful. The neon pink fishnet tights match her blue fishnet fingerless gloves. The colorblocked top matches the paint swash biker shorts perfectly, and is accessorized with smiley face earrings and a translucent eyelet belt and choker.
