In the underground, we appreciate those who display a strong sense of style. In our “Fits of the Week” segment, we pick our top five favorite outfits of the week and compile them into one list.
1) Zillakami (@zillakami)
Tricked out with the Takashi Murakami flower plushie and matching patch pants from I Need More, legendary punk outfitter owned by Jimmy Webb, NY-based musician Zillakami is looking fire in this advanced level style. The dark, industrial aesthetic of his all black punk newsboy hat and biohazard coat contrast with the playful vibes of the colorful plushie and whimsical Jeremy Scott type bone laces on his leather boots. His accessory game is on point too with a subtle red belt, wallet chain, hat pins and a custom chain and lock necklace by designer @wolfe_chainz.
2) Remi Lewis (@remi.lewis)
New York based musician and model Remi Lewis was spotted in a super fun and flirty heartcore look this week. Her bold red raw hem mini skirt is a fresh block of color to go with the sheer floral patterned top and cute lightweight white lace jacket. The black leather boots and silver hoop earrings keep the look contemporary and chill for city life.
3) Lil Wop & even littler Wop (@lilwop17_)
Like father like son, Atlanta-based rapper Lil Wop and his baby boy even littler Wop were caught wearing matching red blue and white two piece tracksuits earlier this week. Not only is the intricate vertical and horizontal striping fire, the fresh white Jordans coordinate perfectly. It’s wild that they were able to find the outfit to fit both a toddler and fully grown man. This is definitely fatherhood goals.
4) Lil Racecar (@lil_racecar)
All draped up in an urban country type look, Lil Racecar of the OutWest music collective was spotted wearing this highly relaxed jeans and collared shirt getup this week. His black leather cowboy boots reflect the aesthetic of his music and pair well with the varsity style graphic leather coat. His light wash boot cut jeans have a raw hem to keep the look modern and go well with a crisp collared white shirt and lightly tousled hair for a timeless greaser cowboy look.
5) Dai Burger (@daiburger)
Hailing from New York, musician and fashion icon Dai Burger looks super fly and extra “litty” in this allover print two piece set. The illustrative hand graphics with super cute painted nails by @ttsart21 are printed with very strategic positioning for a total statement look. Her auburn red hair contrasts well with her bright teal nails. The white baseball hat keeps this outfit comfortable enough for day to day wear but could totally transition to clubwear at a moments notice. Keep slaying, queen.
