New Jersey native Stacy Money follows up his LALALAND project with his new single “Benzos”, featuring MaybeTomorrow. Produced by Charlie Shuffler and SoMuchSauce, just those four names alone indicates that you’re in for something special.
Stacy floats on this beat, providing a smooth chorus and a stellar verse. He throws in some subtle flexes like, “Label on my ass cause we just crashed the rental” and “She turn me on, but when she call I turn my phone off.” MaybeTomorrow comes in on the second verse adding his own unique style to the song and ending his verse with a melodic, “Girl I think I’m doing better, I’m not the type to ever settle”.
When asked about the process of making this song he had this to say, “MaybeTomorrow my bro for life, we got an EP coming. We pretty much popped hella percs & made the song in about 30 minutes”.
Stacy also detailed how he linked up with MaybeTomorrow, “We met at a studio session with Bighead and Gab3 and we both fuck with each other’s music so we ended up making an EP that day, and Benzos was the first song. We got a lot more on the way.”
