On Friday Roland gave the world his self-produced song titled “the world is mine” in celebration of his birthday. This track is a bit more uptempo than some of his other work, but still keeps that same kind of style that we are accustomed to hearing from Roland. It’s the perfect antagonist to the emo wave currently all over SoundCloud, serving as an important reminder to just celebrate life once in a while.
“I made it [in a day] . . . I’m just talking shit on Sonics to be honest,” he said about “the world is mine.” This record is full of witty and fun bars, with a chorus that is relatable to the masses and something that most have thought to from time to time in one way or another. “I looked in the mirror like damn that n***a sexy/ damn God blessed me”. The instrumental Roland created for himself is impressive as well, almost perfect for the different flows he uses throughout this track.
There’s no other way to really put this than to just say that Roland truly delivered on this one, beginning to end not letting up at all. Check out Roland and stream “the world is mine” on SoundCloud below.
