UU Fits of the Week: July 2-July 8, 2018

In the underground, we appreciate those who display a strong sense of style. After our brief hiatus, the “UU Fits of the Week” segment returns, where we pick our top five favorite outfits of the week and compile them into one list.

1.) Kami (@superstarrrkami)

Here with have Chicago’s Kami posing for a flick with a trusted companion on the leash. On his back is a highly sought after piece from Vetements, a simple black zip-up hoodie with the brand’s famous label on the center and on the sleeve. He’s rocking some jeans that are cut just right above a pair of black Doc Martens, a simple yet effective look that is accented quite well by the dog.

2.) Charlie Shuffler (@charlieshuffler)

Producer Charlie Shuffler is not only a known name in the world of music, but also in style. We find him here chilling rocking a soft pink beanie which has been one of his go to pieces for his look. Perhaps the most intriguing part of his outfit seen here is the yellow and white Supreme Playboy Bunny long sleeve shirt, one of his many Supreme pieces from his collection. On his feet are a pair of Supreme x NBA Air Force 1s which feature various logos from teams spread across the NBA.

3.) Shinigami (@ihateshinigami)

Artist Shinigami is seen here posted up rocking a black and white flannel hoodie with an additional tactical vest. He’s giving a tribute to West Chester, Pennsylvania’s favorite grunge crew CKY, rocking their classic t-shirt donning their familiar logo. Shinigami is rocking a pair of designer Sean Kelly’s red webbing cargo pants complete red string belt and straps with buckles. Finally, on his feet are a pair of Virgil Abloh’s Off-White Low 3.0 trainers.

4.) DeathbyRomy (@deathbyromyy)

DeathbyRomy has one of the most unique sounds in the game and she has a fashion sense to match. She is seen here rocking a piece from L.A. based clothing brand Dope Fairfax, showing off their Dope Express t-shirt underneath an oversized zip-up hoodie with various country flags on the left sleeve. Her black and red stripped bottoms are tucked perfectly within her statement making all black platform boots.

5.) Sean Kelly (@killseankelly)

A designer who we got to speak with earlier, Sean Kelly recently debuted a look at the newest pieces from the upcoming Sean Kelly x OmenXIII collaborative effort dropping very soon. The three piece set includes a t-shirt, hooded sweat-shirt and pants. Two of the three pieces are seen here starting with the oversized hoodie which reads “I’ve Watched My Emotions Decay” in white, with a white draw string. The pants read the same but in a red font, which are completed with a strap on the right pant leg which wraps around and buckles right above the knee.

Honorable Mention: Lil Aaron (@lilaaron911)

Like many, musician and all around superstar Lil Aaron was bummed that Fit of the Week went away for a while. To encourage UU to make it return, he posted on Twitter saying “bring back fit of the week” alongside this photo which is . . . a lot to take in. Standing on a hoverboard, Lil Aaron is garnished with brands from head to toe that would make every hypebeast (and juggalo) envy him. Combining an Insane Clown Posse shirt, Supreme boxers, Glo Gang shorts and Fenty slides, none of this should work, yet it does. Thanks Lil Aaron.
