“Drag You Through My Hell” is a Vintage Daydream

There is no question about the meteoric rise of California based rapper drippin so pretty. Rather than focusing on fancy details, his raw emotion radiates a completely genuine style. His beautiful melodies and artistic style are shown differently in every song. His success has led to many collaborations with producer, Charlie Shuffler. With the release of the drag you through my hell EP, he has recently dropped a music video for his title song.

The “drag you through my hell” music video brilliantly sets the mood for authentic emotions. Every word seems to hit close to home and every line seems to tie in to a larger story. The music video shows footage of dripping so pretty in the woods with a chain saw and occasional cuts of flowers. All of this is done with a masterful vintage video type atmosphere. It shows us many of the things we’ve come to expect from a drippin so pretty music video, and definitely does not disappoint.

“Ask me if I’m good, I don’t know if I am
Get my shit together, I don’t know if I can
Take your far away, baby that’s still the plan
Death is coming soon, baby just hold my hand”
