“Anxiety Attacks!” Intoxicates Viewers with Debut Music Video for “SOBER”

Los Angeles based producer and songwriter Alec Jackson, better known as “Anxiety Attacks!” is making our headlines today with the release of his first music video. After the release of his ABOUT A GIRL EP, Jackson has flown under the radar until now. He has recently teamed up with skilled videographer Daniel Jordan K to deliver a dream-like music video for his song “SOBER.”

This track is founded upon the emotional remembrance of a lover, and is supported by a pop punk-esque tune; revealing a more personal part of this artist’s life. As we caught up with “Anxiety Attacks!” to discuss the video, he revealed that he “grew up listening to a lot of punk/pop punk bands,” and has “been playing guitar forever.” He continued on to tell us that the influence for this particular track, as well as the entire EP is derived from a break up, hence the title ‘about a girl.’ “I broke up with this girl so I could move to LA to work on music, I got kinda lonely and depressed for a while and started playing more guitar again so I made the instrumental and I just kinda started sayin’ whatever came to my head.”

I can’t believe you trust me every time that I told you// I’m never gonna leave ‘cuz I was already goin// I’m a waste of time, yeah// You’re a waste of mine, yeah

The immense amount creativity that these artists have is showcased within the video as viewers are provided with a glimpse into their minds. The concept of the video, Jackson reveals, was definitely a collaborative effort. In terms of the psychedelic-like feeling that the video lets off, “It kinda happened throughout the process – I had a couple basic shots in mind, (me singing into the camera with the mic etcetera) but Daniel really just freestyled the whole thing with me and killed it.”

If this is the first time you’ve heard of “Anxiety Attacks!,” just know that it certainly won’t be the last. “My main goal now is to just put more content out so people can really get to know what I’m all about. This was just the beginning, I’m still trying a lot of new stuff.”
