New York’s DrownMili released a new single entitled “99DEMONS” featuring BurnKas. The track comes shortly after “Curb Stomp,”another incredibly intense collaboration between the two that is garnering a great reaction. “99DEMONS” is our first taste of their DROWN & BURN EP that is set to drop on September 30th. Production credits for this song go to purpdogg, who is responsible for other DrownMili tracks like “you’re a lick” and “kick in yo door.” DrownMili is perhaps most known for his “Die With Me” video which made a lot of noise due to its explicit nature, one version being released on YouTube, the other on PornHub.

The reasoning for this song coming to being was simple. DrownMili and BurnKas have worked together several times before also on purpdogg beats. Everything seems to be tight knit in this brotherhood of a collective. “Me and BurnKas are brothers. We are a part of the same collective 999MOB. We’ve been recording and preparing a EP produced by purpdogg for the past couple of months, and “99DEMONS” was one of the last songs we recorded for the project. We both freestyled on it, liked it, and it became what is was today.”

This song sounds grim to say the least. BurnKas took the first verse and uses his aggressive, raspy voice to spew uninviting lyrics like “I’m a caveman don’t get your head encaved.” DrownMili follows up with a much more playful flow, still throwing out quite a few violent bars to match the energy BurnKas brought to the track. September 30th is right around the corner, be ready. Get a taste of the sound that is the DrownMili and BurnKas combo below.
