In the underground, we appreciate those who display a strong sense of style. In the “UU Fits of the Week” segment, we pick our favorite outfits of the week and compile them into one list.
Decked out in an all custom fit, 5 Finger Posse’s 5G brings us an experimental look. 5G wears a monochromatic beige button up long-sleeve, matching with a pair of jeans. To add to the outfit, he decorated the pieces with red graphics and flames along the hem of the jeans. On his feet, he wears a pair of white Nikes, laced with blue laces, with hand-drawn designs covering the entire shoe.
Turning heads in a black-and-white fit, Alex Beckman shows off a look perfect for everyday wear. On top, she wears a long sleeve crop top with a cutout right below the neck. The high-neck shirt is lined with white fabric to contrast the black, and bring attention to the distinct cutout. For pants, Alex wears a pair of black cargos with mid-calf slits. The white stitching from the pants compliments the white details seen in the shirt to give a cohesive appearance. On her feet she wears a pair of white AF1’s and accessorizes with a white purse and padlock necklace.
The 90’s called theysaid “Hey Benji, keep the hoodie, you pull it off well.” Benji Colson radiates the nostalgic color-block style of the 90’s with a Guess Originals hoodie. To accentuate the colors of the top, he chooses a pair of all white jeans. On his feet he wears black sneakers to tie the entire fit together. Although this look is simple, Benji is a prime example of how to have style through simplicity.
Taking to the streets in a two-toned fit, Oanh rocks an eye-catching look. On top she wears a neon green tank-top that draws attention to her outfit. For her pants she wears a pair of black, polyester sweats with zippers above the knee and along the shin. Oanh tucks these into all black combat boots for an industrial aesthetic. She compliments the outfit with neon green glasses and a leopard print tote.
