Gizmo and Saphir Hit Hard with New Single “Catastrophic”

Couple Gizmo and Saphir have been together for a long time now, both equally putting out a rapid collection of incredible art. However the pair collaborating is noticeably rare, with the only joint piece being Gizmos “Superstar’” from his Illusory tape from 2017. Their newest track “Catastrophic” sounds nothing like you imagine the duo to work on.

Opening up with a dingy, eerie pad, producer Ghostrage eases in the track slowly, filling it up with an intimidating aura. The track suddenly kicks in with a destructive 808 punching through your headphones, with Gizmo punching in with the aggressive “I’m a walking talking crisis” hook, striking the listener off their feet. Gizmos bars drive into a divergent verse, taking on several flows and cadences to keep the track moving swiftly.

Saphir comes in with angelic, yet heinous vocals that ooze through your headphones like python. With something almost reminiscent to a Korn track, her vocals are nonchalant yet alluringly dark, provide a striking alternative to Gizmos combative screams.

Despite their vocal style on the track being distinctly contrasting, it works flawlessly. Setting the bar incredibly high, does this point to more music between the duo in the future?
