Vocalist and “sad rap” heavyweight 6 Dogs is continuing a tear of quality music. His collection of recent releases suggest this isn’t the end of 6, and his newest track ‘Gucci Panda’ takes things to a heavenly place.
The atmosphere is serene, with a breezy piano melody panning into the mix, floating you into the track gradually. Shortly following this flash of bliss, soft hats roll in, accompanied by 6’s laid back vocals. “Running up the quap like treadmill, I gotta ball hard, do a windmill,” he placidly sings, harmonizing with the instrumental. Following this comes an upbeat verse, explaining his forgetting of the past, and how life is treating him as of lately. The track then flows smoothly back into the hook.
Standing at 2 minutes and 11 Seconds, the song is short, yet only one of the many excellent recently releases from the Atlanta artist. This can only hope to mean 6 Dogs is back after a lengthy hiatus, and we’re going to be seeing a lot more..
