Horse Head & YAWNS – “Jewelry”

Horse Head and YAWNS have just released their studio album We Had Our Fun, which is Horses’ first project since 2017. Post-punk track “Jewelry” features jarring guitar playing by YAWNS as a disheartened Horse Head describes a two-faced lover (and if you listen closely, you can hear backing vocals by a very familiar GothBoiClique member). — Jack Angell

Lil Lotus – “Never Get Away”

Throughout “Never Get Away”, Lil Lotus stands tall against his demons he drowned in. With his iconic melodies and a hard hitting instrumental behind him, Lil Lotus is overcoming his past struggles. — Thomas Vasquez

YEAT – “Goat Emoji” (prod. Clibbo)

The first track off Yeat’s latest project Different Creature not only sets the stage for the rest of the project, but also encapsulates everything he’s been shooting for over the past few years. Vivaciously bouncy and rowdy vocals echo up and down a mechanically melodic beat from Clibbo, the German mastermind behind the production on the project. — Ben Lindsey

Summrs – “Vicodines” (Prod. Noirbrent)

Vicodines by summrs illustrates his auto tuned pitch-perfect vocals. Aided by Brent Rambo’s popping, 808-centric production, the track makes for an all fun, no responsibilities anthem. — Gerard Mullin

Pollari – “ISSUES”

Laid back flexing, Pollari delivers “issues” as a part of his latest project Lil Jesus 2. Using airy vocals, he goes over the lack of issues he has, showing he doesn’t live like the rest. — Gerard Mullin

SportVVS – “Hold On”

Brandishing his extravagant lifestyle, Maryland based artist SportVVS wants the listener to know that he lives for excitement. Laying his crisp vocals over the pounding production of Woodpecker and Dvgh, “Hold On” is the ideal song to motivate you through the week. — John Ong

VELVETEARS – “I’m Doin Better” (Prod. Ric)

Combining with producer Ric, VELETEARS releases “I’m Doin Better” in her usual authentic style. This mantra-like track emphasises her unrelenting drive and gives insight to her cut-throat work ethic with its catchy, matter of fact vocals and intricate bass line. — Rani Boyer

aidan. – “brain dead” (ft. cloudhighcomeup)

Confronting introspective truths, aidan. and cloudhighcomeup’s “brain dead” is a universe to get lost in. As the instrumentals become twisted with post-rock experimentation, vocals remain devastatingly honest. — Jenna DePasquale

Lil Raven – “Love Sick” (prod. helix & falsecut)

Spitting melancholic bars over palm-muted, grunge inspired guitar, Lil Raven bears his soul to his audience. Citing his inability to share his love with another person, Raven gives listeners insight into the struggle of someone unable to mend a heart that’s been broken too many times to count. — Sam Thraxx

City Morgue, Zillakami, SoSMula – “DAWG”

The City Morgue team once again delivers a high energy single fit for the mosh pit. Violent lyricism delivered through shrieks and gutturals atop a guitar driven instrumental is a perfect match. — Derek Bendixen
