The versatile producer shares his Mutt Mix
With his undeniable versatility, Charlie Shuffler has seemingly reached every corner of hip-hop. Having produced for scene staples such as Lil Yachty, Lil Peep, Lil Tracy and many more, Shuffler also keeps his ear closer to the underground, producing for acts like Belis, Drippin So Pretty, and Eyekeem. Using his own flare, the 22-year-old is adept at immersing himself in the universes of the many artists with whom he collaborates. The result is his creation of instant classics that span both angelic emo samples and aggressive trap rhythms.
Today, Charlie Shuffler shares his Mutt Mix for Underground Underdogs. “I love this mix,” he explains, “because it’s all the songs I listen to daily, and all my favorite parts.” In a rare opportunity, the followers that Shuffler garners across various circles of the underground have a chance to enjoy his influences in the same fashion as he himself. “It might sound choppy or whatever but that’s how I really listen to music. I didn’t really take a “DJ” approach, I just did it how I listen to music!”
