Dive Into Ecco2K’s Hypnotic Visuals for “Peroxide”

The Drain Gang member shares a self-directed music video and announces a headlining European tour

In the middle of the ocean, surrounded by a stark cluster of towering wind turbines, Ecco2K is seen alone in the music video for “Peroxide.” Following the release of his debut album, E, the Drain Gang member shared his self-directed and edited video for the experimental pop-ballad produced by Gud.

As Ecco2K sings of alienation and discomfort, wide-span shots of the ocean echo his disconnect as the vast emptiness of the ocean encompasses him. Eloquent touches, such as shots bobbing with the movements of the sea, immerse the viewer and bring them along on what feels like an intimate and physical journey. Alone at sea, he is free from the judgements underpinning society that he touches upon in “Peroxide.”

Alongside the video, Ecco2K also shared the dates to his upcoming headlining European tour.

  • January 31 — Gothenburg, Sweden — Gothenburg Film Festival
  • February 8 — Berlin, Germany — Trauma Bar und Kino
  • February 14 — Milan, Italy — Macao
  • March 3 — Manchester, UK — YES
  • March 5 — London, UK — The Garage
  • March 6 — Stockholm, Sweden — Lilla Fållan
