The third single from the Atlanta duo’s forthcoming album “Hackers of the World Unite”
In spirit of Valentine’s day, Danger Incorporated have shared their visuals for “Fucking for a Reason,” the third single from the Atlanta duo’s forthcoming album, Hackers of the World Unite. Originally released in 2017 as a solo Louie Duffelbags track, “Fucking for a Reason” was recently re-recorded and graced with an additional verse from Boothlord. The video shows the two sulking singers beneath ambient lighting; Louie sits at a piano with a candelabra atop, while Booth sings into a stand-up mic in the style of Frankie Valli. The result is a feeling of romance and uncertainty, themes in which the Danger Boys excel at, yet the hook brings the song to a more somber moment, “I try to forget / if I’m not the one / please let me forget / please let me forget.” “Fucking for a Reason” encapsulates the anxiety and passions that love can instill, making it the perfect track for you and your special someone (or maybe just your ex).
