The Canadian rapper stays sharp with his new Cian P-produced hit.
Young Lungs has an ear for bangers and an eye for clean visuals. He’s made that evident once again with his latest track, “Udon,” produced by a long time partner in crime of his, Cian P. This duo has an extensive catalog of sounds, such as the heavy hitting “Tennis” or the dreamy cut “Cartier.” So, naturally, they added another to their arsenal.
Lungs’ attitude appropriately matches that of the instrumental, coupling his aggression with agitated beeps and thundering 808’s. “I just want chains like Guwop, still hurt my neck when I only got two on.” The delivery is cocky, but coolly composed. Rightly so. He’s showing that he has something to prove. “Same old shoes everytime I step out, won’t change clothes till the shows they sell out.” As Lungs hangs out of a sunroof, rapping while presumably eating udon with chopsticks, it’s clear what kind of anthem this is.
